Timeless wisdom teaches that the source of all kindness is self-kindness; the source of all compassion is self-compassion; the source of all forgiveness is self-forgiveness; and the source of all love is self-love.
The pathway to this higher state of existence is through living each moment from that sacred space of love to be divinely guided to fulfill your heart’s desires…
There are common threads of suffering in life first identified thousands of years ago in the most ancient teachings of the Vedas.
In every change is a lesson. In every change is an opening for something new, letting go of the old; something fresh, letting go of the stale; something unexpected, stepping beyond limits.
Krishna replies in Chapter 2, Verse 48, “Yogastha kuru karmani—establish yourself in the present moment, and then perform action.”
As humans, we all struggle with these five mind poisons. But a daily meditation practice can help you navigate through the sometimes, treacherous waters of the kleshas.
Sometimes we feel as if we’ll always be trapped. As if the place we find ourselves in feels like quicksand. But really, this feeling of being stuck is merely a pause… a rest… before we launch into our dreams, into where we want to be.
Imagine if our compassion could transcend our relationships and the attachment we have to them – pure sympathy, pure empathy, and pure desire to help them heal.
Sometimes, even just the thought of an irritating situation or person can trigger a stress response; but in 16 seconds you can connect to the present moment.
