What Do You Do When You Feel Sad or Mad or in Emotional Pain?
As an ancient sage once said, “All that we are arises with our thoughts; with our thoughts, we create the world.”
Hello Spiritual Warrior!!! Welcome to the Inner Wisdom blog!!! I am grateful for your visit. Every day I dedicate myself to creating a sacred space for you to learn about yourself & learn about life. It’s a wild journey filled with celebration & disappointment, success & sadness, exhilaration & frustration and I am dedicated to helping you balance, heal, soar, and evolve into your best version.
Everything here is real world – practical application. I won’t waste your time with theory that leads nowhere. We’ll explore meditation, destressifying, mindful performance, conscious choice making, and integrating ancient wisdom into our real-world, modern-day experiences to help you take your life to the next level. Let’s do this together!!!
As an ancient sage once said, “All that we are arises with our thoughts; with our thoughts, we create the world.”
When storm clouds seem to overtake your emotions; when you find yourself feeling shame, jealousy, self-doubt, inadequacy, or loneliness; when the shield of pride you constantly hold up to protect yourself has become too heavy, your awakened heart is there to comfort and heal you.
In every change is a lesson. In every change is an opening for something new, letting go of the old; something fresh, letting go of the stale; something unexpected, stepping beyond limits.
As humans, we all struggle with these five mind poisons. But a daily meditation practice can help you navigate through the sometimes, treacherous waters of the kleshas.
When we hear the voice in our head telling us we are less than or not worthy, we need to know that the word TRUST can be re-configured into STRUT!
But there is another side to the story… integrating the magnificent gifts you’ve received from what you’ve lost – the sweet memories, the joys of your past, the special moments – and that magnificence is something to celebrate.
If our fire is burning brightly, we trust, we listen, we stay fully present, and we risk being vulnerable. And, ideally, once we have absorbed all that we believe will nourish us, we release, sidestep, or let go of anything that will not serve us.
Your awakened heart knows all, sees all, feels all, and is capable of healing all the pain and suffering that rests inside you.
The benefits of “negative” emotions are that they are telling us something or advising us on our next step.
Practicing meditation on a daily basis allows you to weave silence and stillness into your mind and body to create a life of greater compassion and fulfillment – not only for others, but for YOURSELF, as well.
