What Do You Do When You Feel Sad or Mad or in Emotional Pain?

Welcome to this week’s edition of The Source!

In our video lesson we touch on the importance of allowing ourselves to feel – actually sit with, feel and recognize – our emotions, and ways we can do it in a positive way.

I wanted to also add an additional tool to your arsenal when you are battling feeling of sadness, anger or pain – affirmations.

Affirmations are powerful because they can override our conditioned doubts, uncertainties, and fears to shake us out of a mind-set of less-than thinking. They effortlessly interrupt the patterns and behaviors that haven’t really served us through most of our life. They are transformational because they convert energy!

Affirmations diminish negative self-talk and reinforce life-affirming intentions. They become our inner voice, which ultimately evolves into our persona. And so what once started as a negative internal conversation, gets overridden by a positive, elevating dialogue between you and your highest self.

With continued attention, our silent self-expression grows and blossoms and blooms. As an ancient sage once said, “All that we are arises with our thoughts; with our thoughts, we create the world.” Silently repeating your Sacred Affirmation throughout the day gives you the spontaneous ability to re-create your world!

To keep the Divine Principle of Awareness thriving in your life, strengthening our intentions, and moving into the best version of our self, this week let’s repeat the Sacred Affirmation during our morning meditation:

I am the master of this moment; what I seek, I already am!

I’ll see you in the gap. Namaste. -davidji
