Welcome to another edition of The Source!
Everything in life is energy… divine energy. We refer to this life force in Sanskrit as prana. Take a deep breath in – that’s prana surging through you. Gaze at something – that’s prana coming into your eyes and being translated into a visual. Close your eyes and listen… whatever you hear is the sound of energy vibrating your eardrums and then being interpreted by your brain into a sound. Everything is energy!!
All the energy on the planet already exists. It can be transformed, transmuted, or morphed into another form of energy; but energy cannot be created nor can it be destroyed.
Let that settle in for a moment… Energy cannot be created nor can it be destroyed. It is the life force that exists in every moment flowing… circulating…evolving… transforming… into some other form of energy.
As you think, the electrical energy in your brain is moving around just like the energy in your computer, your device, or your phone. There is no airplane mode for your brain – although we can get pretty close when we meditate or connect to the present moment.
The food we eat, which contains stored energy translates into our body as calories which then becomes part of our body’s stored energy, and then translates into activity (kinetic energy) or becomes part of our physiology – fat, muscle, tissues, blood vessels, lung expansions and contractions, cellular development, and heart beats.

As we move our body that creates an energetic ripple of its own. When we speak, our thoughts are translated into vocal electrical energy which then moves through the air and lands on someone else’s ears creating an energetic ripple through them.
When our words are tender, gentle, and loving – then nourishing energy is the end result. When our words are harsh, mean-spirited, or malicious – then non-nourishing energy is transmitted and received.
We have the ability to circulate whatever energy we desire – and when we are calm, relaxed, aware, and unconditioned – then that is our energetic expression. Meditation, conscious communication, forgiveness, (self) compassion, and empathy are important tools to help us flow the best energy that comes into us. Let’s make the commitment this week to be a conduit of love and transform whatever energy we receive into loving energy. Remember the power of your ripple. In the meantime, I’ll see you in the gap! Aham brahmasmi baby! Peace. -davidji
