In this week’s Metta Moment, we will be exploring how to overcome anxiety & overthinking!
This week is a little bit different than what you’re used to. Instead of a guided meditation, I am sharing a brief, two minute video about how to overcome anxiety and overthinking when you find yourself on the hamster wheel of rumination.
I recommend starting or ending your day with this video every day this week, or simply tune in any time you could use additional motivation to keep your spirits up.
We often feel anxious when we project ourselves too far into the future and try to predict every little thing that will unfold, or we “catastrophize” and imagine the worst possible scenario occurring. What we do not realize when we are stuck on that loop is that we really have ZERO control over what will occur a day, a week, a month, or a year from now. As the sages say, we can hope the best, plan for the worst… but in the end, we have no control over how any situation actually unfolds.
How to overcome anxiety is just one of the many topics I discuss in my Masters of Wisdom & Meditation Teacher Training. This December 6, the next cohort of teachers will be diving deep with me into ancient wisdom, meditation techniques, stress reduction techniques, mindfulness, self-inquiry, and more.
One of the best things about my Meditation Teacher Training is the COMMUNITY. Nobody is alone in their process, and more often than not, if you are experiencing fear, anxiety, doubt, grief, loss, anger, sadness, depression, there is likely someone who knows exactly what you are going through.
This training is a wonderful, gentle process of heart-opening, soul exploration, and wisdom teachings. I invite you to join me!
In the meantime, remember to like, subscribe, and share to keep your ripple flowing in our community!!! Sending you peace, love and health. Be well.
