Dear Spiritual Warrior,

 

We can all learn so much from this parable about The Wise Old Man and the Precious Stone. 

 

It is so easy in our culture to get consumed with the material world – wanting more, and more, and more. And it seems that the more we have, the more we need – which becomes a never-ending spiral of constantly consuming more “stuff.”

 

This parable is a beautiful reminder to us all, about what truly makes a person wealthy. 

 

Is it the material things that we so often seek as a validation of our success? Or is it the qualities within us – our generosity, our ability to see another and meet their needs, our love for each other – that really make us rich?

 

Even though our society tells us it’s the former, our soul’s evolution is calling out for the latter.

 

Go out of your way today to do something generous for another person, and then see how your kindness reverberates back to you. 

 

Be the change that you wish to see, and let your love, generosity and caring spirit lead the way.
