In this video, I offer two questions to contemplate:
- Do you have the patience to wait until your mud settles and the water is clear?
- Can you remain unmoving until the right action arises by itself?
We can’t find the answers within, until we get quiet and still. What questions are you seeking the answers to at this moment in time?
In Chapter 2, Verse 48 of the ancient text states Yogastha Kuru Karmani.
Yogastha = establish yourself in yoga / union / oneness / present moment
Kuru = then perform
Karmani = action (karma)
These are the words that Lord Krishna shares with Arjuna, when he’s facing one of the biggest dilemmas he’s ever experienced in his life.
Arjuna is at a crossroads – not sure what to do next – and Lord Krishna tells him to yogastha kuru karmani – establish yourself in the present moment, and then perform action.
Maybe you are here right now – maybe you are at a crossroads just like Arjuna was.
You don’t need to know next steps – you just need to get still. I encourage you to sit with the two questions I pose to you in today’s video, so that you can get curious about how you respond to the stressors that life is presenting.
We don’t need to have it all right now, or know it all right now. We just need to learn to get still, listen to what the answers that come from that stillness, and then move forward when the time is right.
Thank you for spending this time with me today,
