The Art of Extreme Self-care: 18-Minute Guided Meditation

Hello, Spiritual Warrior,

Ready to give yourself some LOVE? 💗

The greatest gift we can ever give ourselves is our own time, and nourishing ourselves with loving self-care. 

We must cultivate our best version of ourselves by starting within, and that is what builds the foundation upon which we move through the world.

So I invite you to practice this with me today in this meditation! I like to refer to this as a “time-in” … not a time-out, but a time-in.

We’ll use the ancient healing meditation known as Metta – unconditional loving kindness – to create the vehicle through which we give ourselves self-love and self-compassion.

In Metta meditations, we flow loving awareness and attention out to:

loved ones  … friends  … acquaintances  … those with whom you have a grievance  … every sentient being on the planet – someone you know who is in pain or is suffering, struggling … the cosmos and every corner of the galaxy …

And then I invite you to turn that inwards and allow it to surge into your own heart, from where you allow it to ripple through every single cell of your body, filling your entire body with the light of gratitude and the energy of healing.

This is a beautiful practice of self-care, and I thank you for giving yourself the time to practice it today with me. Remember that the greatest self-care we can offer ourselves is our own time and attention.
