Listening to our Heart: 18-Minute Guided Meditation

Hello, Spiritual Warrior! 

Today I wanted to share a meditation with you that I love to connect with whenever I’m feeling stressed or overwhelmed.

We start by breathing to a rhythmic count: 

In for three, out for four … in for four, out for five … in for five, out for six … and so on.

This is an easy – yet powerful! – practice to simply slow the breath, quiet the mind, and prepare the body to melt into meditation. 

And in this meditation I’m sharing with you today, we move from witnessing the breath to asking some sacred questions – the kinds of questions that allow us to soften and listen to the answers that are resting in our heart. 

What do I want physically?

What do I want emotionally?

What do I want materially?

What do I want in my relationships?

What do I want spiritually?

These are powerful questions, and I invite you to relax and listen to this meditation without any attachment to ensuring you find the answers. Sometimes just reflecting on the questions opens up the space to deeply know and feel the answers that are resting in your heart.

Once you finish the meditation, I invite you to take some time and journal around these sacred questions that circle the five realms of our life – our physical being, emotional being, material possessions, the relationships that we have or want to create, and the spiritual connection that we have with the universe.
