Happy weekend, spiritual warrior!

I’m gearing up for my European tour through the Netherlands, Ireland & the UK, which begins next week. Suddenly the deadlines, the emails, the packing, the schedule coordinating is starting to come at me at lightening speed.

But will I let all the chaos overwhelm me? Not a chance!!! I have so many destressifying tools at my fingertips to help me become the calm amidst the chaos. And so do you!

This week I created a brand new 6-minute stress eraser perfect for those days when you feel the stress, the anxiety, the overwhelm creeping up on you. Enjoy, and I’ll see you in Europe!!! Peace. -davidji

Hello, spiritual warrior, and welcome to this week’s edition of The Source!

Whats the first myth of meditation?

The first thing you need to do is to clear the thoughts from your mind or at least stop the thoughts.

You have about 75,000 thoughts a day. That’s approximately one thought every 1.2 seconds. They’re coming – you will not stop them…you can’t stop them. They are not interruptions in your meditation; they are a part of your meditation so let them come and let them go. Simply drift back to the mantra, or your breath, or whatever else you were using to disconnect you from activity.

So many meditators stop meditating because they have thoughts; but having thoughts flowing in and out of your meditation is so perfect. This is your chance to process each day’s activities that otherwise would go buried, unaddressed, and unprocessed.

That doesn’t mean that you should place your attention on them… or resist them… because resisting is a form of attention.

Treat thoughts as you would clouds. Let them drift in and let them drift away. You be unconcerned. When you realize you are deep in thought, simply drift back to the object of your attention – the mantra or your breath.

Here’s how much effort to use when you meditate: like mist rising off a lake at dawn.

Stop now and envision morning mist, ever so gently, lifting off a field or a lake… there is virtually no movement. That’s how hard you should “work” or “try” while meditating.

Happy weekend, spiritual warrior!

We all would like to turn back the clock to a moment in time or simply push the reset button to see if we might have better luck the second time around.

REbirth is a spiritual homecoming—our returning to the memory of our wholeness before we carved out all the ruts, climbed the mountains, crawled up from the abysses, trudged across the valleys, slid down the hills, and fell down rabbit holes. All these experiences have provided strength and wisdom, but we don’t need to hold onto the staleness of their trajectory.

Even in the smallest of issues and the tiniest of concerns, you are worthy of a second chance. You are entitled to a new beginning!

Happy weekend Spiritual Warrior!!!

Much of our pain comes from the uncertainty of events in our lives. Perhaps you’ve lost a job, you’ve lost a loved one or received a diagnosis. The date of that loss is the beginning of uncertainty of what the future holds.

Let’s allow clarity to unfold this weekend by settling uncertainty about something in your life that is creating anxiety, pain, or emotional turbulence.

We can start this process by identifying a starting point and an end point of the issue, which allows us to begin to grasp the finite nature of our stress leading to greater clarity and less suffering.

Hello, Spiritual Warrior, and welcome to this week’s edition of The Source. Let’s dive into the Divine Principle of Inner Fire and the master elements that are an integral component of this principle.

The Divine Principle of Inner Fire is based on the ancient formula for the origin of all existence. These teachings are the foundation for the 5,000-year-old Indian healing system of Ayurveda, which I have studied and practiced for more than a decade. Whatever your belief system is regarding the creation of the Universe, here’s my translation of how Ayurveda says it all started:

In the beginning, there was just space . . . cold emptiness . . . the void . . . the vast expanse of nothingness. But what does space do? Nothing. It just sits there . . . totally still . . . holding space . . . and holding space . . . and holding space for trillions of years. But ultimately space wanted to experience itself, so it began folding itself back in on itself to feel itself . . . see itself . . . witness itself.

In the ancient Indian wisdom traditions, this process of the Self curving in back on itself in order to experience itself is called namaha. And as space began to curve back in on itself, air was created out of the movement. And as more air was generated with each movement of namaha, friction was created.

And as the air moved more quickly, and the frequency of friction accelerated, sparks began to fly and then a flicker of a flame . . . and then fire began to rage through the heavens. And as this uncontrollable fire licked the edges of the Universe, the heat met the icy cold of the galaxy and condensation was formed.

And in time, billions of drops of water began to slowly drip down the edges of the cosmos, solidifying, taking shape, and ultimately creating the element of earth. Five master elements at the very core of reality: Space. Air. Fire. Water. Earth.

Twelve billion years later, these are the same five master elements that make up every single aspect of your existence—the seen and the unseen. They are the most Universal expressions of life and your most personal ones as well.

The original flame that started it all is nourished inside of you with each breath of Shakti energy you take. And it is the Divine Principle of Inner Fire that determines how you ignite your very next moment—awakening your desires, crystalizing your vision, sparking your intentions, burning away unwanted thoughts, beliefs, ideas, and memories, and fueling your next leap in the direction of your dreams.

The journey of life is fraught with many wrong turns, dead ends, and confusing signs along the way. Walking this Fifth Divine Path and uncovering its secret will help you avoid many of the pitfalls and heartaches that can otherwise distract you and send you reeling backwards. Each day can bring a bewildering swirl of love, passion, and purpose as we relentlessly question our emotions, the status of our lifelong desires, and the deeper meaning of each moment.

The Divine Principle of Inner Fire cuts through the confusion, re-awakening and leading you. Navigating the cosmic expanse of our inner fire and mastering its magnificence is a lifelong endeavor requiring heightened intuition, sensitivity, awareness, and commitment. The corresponding Sacred Powers will be your life-affirming guides on your journey of burning brightly:

  • The Sacred Power of Your Awakened Heart
  • The Sacred Power of Passion
  • The Sacred Power of Purpose

I explore these Sacred Powers in my new book. Here’s where you can purchase it:

Welcome to this week’s edition of The Source!

When we look to our most genuine selves—beneath our flesh casing, beyond life’s drama, and outside of the moment-to-moment conditioning we have bought into or self-imposed—we see that life’s richness is available to us in every moment. We are open to a vast infinity of wealth consciousness. Even when it so obviously appears that there is only one ticket left, only one option available, or a single slice of the pie remaining, these are simply illusions of the moment. In reality, the pie is big . . . really big, and growing bigger.

The Sacred Power of Abundance always guides us to place our attention on meeting our needs rather than the constriction or blockage that separates us from the fulfillment of that need. But a mind-set conditioned with poverty consciousness tends to focus on perceived limitations. That gap between what we desire in a given moment and what appears to be available can be a powerful spark for our creative solution.

Awakening the Sacred Power of Abundance reveals that the pie is ever expanding, and there is more of everything if we shatter the way we see the world. When we look really deep, we realize that the fear, lack, and poverty consciousness we often embrace are indeed self-imposed or projected on us by what we read, hear, and see. But that’s not who we are.

The Divine Principle of Infinite Flow has taught us that we are open conduits for the magnificent flow of the abundant cosmos. We are divinely designed to experience the most expanded, unconstricted, ever-evolving, and Universal aspects of our Self that are pregnant with possibilities.

The Sacred Power of Abundance dovetails seamlessly with the Sacred Power of Trust. Whether we call it wealth consciousness, abundance consciousness, infinity consciousness, or unbounded awareness- when we are in that state—embracing all the Universe has to offer—we place no conditions on what we are prepared to receive. We are fully open. These are the powerful moments where we say “Yes!” to every offer and where happiness seems to chase us.

The Sacred Power of Abundance invites us to open our arms so wide that everything—money, health, love, forgiveness, opportunity, happiness, spirit—all flow into us without conditions.

Where Does Money Fit In?

Having lots of money doesn’t always provide happiness. It definitely provides the opportunity to not have to worry about money but not necessarily anything else. And you can still have lots of money and worry that it’s not enough or that you’ll lose it. The world is filled with unhappy people who have lots of money and happy people who have no money. It’s also filled with miserable people lacking in material possessions and ecstatic people with really large bank accounts. But without an abundance mind-set regarding the other aspects of life, happiness will most likely elude you . . .even if you’re sitting on a big pile of cash.

Just as trust is built on the foundation of infinite flow, abundance consciousness is a perspective in which we see all of life as an infinite interdependent, interwoven fabric that connects every aspect of existence and flows through us in every moment.

Every breath we take creates a vacuum of air that will be filled by another person’s exhale. Every word we speak enters the silence, alters it, vibrates, and creates the potential for a word from someone else. Every conversation we have is not simply the beginning of something but a continuation of everything that has led up to that moment. Where will the money you need come from?

Wherever it is right now! Peace. -davidji
