“Always say “yes” to the present moment. What could be more futile, more insane, than to create inner resistance to what already is? what could be more insane than to oppose life itself, which is now and always now? Surrender to what is. Say “yes” to life — and see how life suddenly starts working for you rather than against you.” – Eckhart Tolle

Mantra: Yam Moksha Namah

Happy Weekend Spiritual Warriors!

Your mind wants to keep you the same and never allow you to take risks because newness is the enemy. Move beyond the constrictions of your mind and allow yourself to try something new or be vulnerable. Risks must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing. Chained by servitudes, you are only a slave.
Float & enjoy this FREEDOM meditation.

“Love is a place
& through this place of
love move
(with brightness of peace)
all places

yes is a world
& in this world of yes live

all worlds”
–  E.E. Cummings

Hello Spiritual Warriors!!

What would you dare to dream if you knew you wouldn’t fail? Where would you take your life, if you had no fear or limitations?

What are we afraid of anyway? The most common fears are:

• Fear of being alone
• Fear of the unknown
• Fear of looking like a fool
• Fear of being “found out”
• Fear of having no money
• Fear of trying new things
• Fear of not measuring up to new people
• Fear of failing
• Fear of succeeding

Every time a new offer appears in our life, our conditioning guides us to either block it or accept it. We all choose what will occur in our lives based on our resistance or open-ness to a given moment. In the unknown rests the fresh, the new, the expansion of our existence. When we unconsciously block the unknown by saying “no”, we resist the universe and constrict our potential.

While saying “yes” every time we are asked a favor, can lead to weak & porous boundaries, saying “yes” every time we are offered an opportunity can lead us to new dimensions – which can shift our life to new heights.

Try it this week. Simply make the commitment every day, to say “YES” when offered the opportunity to meet a new person, express our voice, try something new (as long as it isn’t hurtful to you or someone else), or test your abilities.
Start small. Begin by taking small steps: make a phone call you’ve been putting off, text someone you haven’t spoken to in a while, ask a question when you don’t really understand the situation, and prepare for magnificence to unfold in your life.

Use my 16 seconds to clarity breathing technique (inhale for 4 seconds; hold it in for 4 seconds; release it for 4 seconds; hold it out for 4 seconds) as soon as you find yourself saying no. Introducing this pattern interrupt will allow you to step into YES with greater grace and greater ease. Email me with your results to celebrate your YESes!!!

“May our heart’s garden of awakening bloom with hundreds of flowers.” – Thich Nhat Hanh

Hello Spiritual Warriors!! I hope you are thriving and leaning towards nourishment. This week we explore awakening love in our life.

No matter who your are; no matter what you do; no matter where you live – you could use more love. More self-nourishment, more joy, more affection, more forgiveness, more compassion from those in your life, more attention from others.

We want it; we need it, but our quest for it is often misguided. We look outside of ourselves for something that rests within. We seek what we already are.

Yet we wake up each morning on a quest to somehow find it in a text, a phone call, an email, or the eye of someone we are gazing at.

If we could recognize our splendor – see the divine nature of our being, we’d understand and appreciate the magnificence that rests at the core of our being.

We can connect to that radiance with greater consistency by following these 5 steps starting with each morning as soon as we rise:

Step 1) Start your day with some stillness & silence. Meditate – whether for 16 seconds or a full 30 minutes. Using a mantra (I list 12 timeless mantras on page 207 in Secrets of Meditation), or simply following your breath in and out, will place us in a state of witnessing awareness.

Step 2) Surrender. Acknowledge that this moment is pure and perfect and exactly as it’s supposed to be. The past is carved in stone – the future is unknown – all we have is this precious, sacred precious moment.

“There are only two days in the year that nothing can be done. One is called yesterday and the other is called tomorrow, so today is the right day to LOVE, believe, do, and mostly LIVE.” – Dalai Lama

Step 3) Draw the logical conclusion that — if this moment is perfect – so are you…exactly where you are supposed to be – with all the emotions, relationships, and circumstances that you have created.

Step 4) Open your heart to love. Repeat the affirmation. Today I let love in. Today I receive love. Today I am love. And throughout the day, as soon as you are not getting your way…as soon as you witness yourself trying to impose you view on how things are supposed to be or how something should unfold, repeat the affirmation.

Step 5) Flow. Extend yourself to someone. Lend a helping hand, ear, or heart. Give something to someone – a thank you, an apology, a hug, a smile. Send a text to someone telling them you are thinking about them and sending them love.

Remember that you are so worthy to receive love. And the more you practice these simple steps, the more quickly you will feel loved and feel the love of the universe. Email me with your results. Keep your ripple flowing. I’ll see you in the gap. Peace. -davidji

“The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.” – Bob Marley

Greetings spiritual warriors! And welcome to another week of Life Tools.

This week we’re exploring the timeless concept of abundance consciousness – and introducing the ancient mantra aham brahmasmi into your awareness.

There are five realms of existence – the physical, emotional, material, relationship, and spiritual.

In each of them, we find ourselves meeting obstacles. But this week we will focus on the material realm – how we see the realm of money, positions, and possessions – the stuff in our life.

Sometimes they are speed bumps, other times roadblocks, often times tall walls, and occasionally a slammed shut door. What we do with this information becomes the fabric of our life. We can use each obstacle in our life – regardless of how devastating — as an opportunity to grow, evolve, and start anew, or we can use the smallest excuse as our reason why we can’t self-actualize.

Do you see building blocks or stumbling blocks? You get to choose. And here is a powerful tool to help you shift your mindset and awaken more abundance into your life. It’s called the aham brahmasmi subtle intention.

It all starts with introducing the pattern interrupt aham brahmasmi – an ancient Sanskrit phrase from the Brihadaranyaka Upanishads into your awareness. As you wake up – open your eyes and say out loud aham brahmasmiI am the Universe. Then repeat it out loud, when you are:

  • Sitting down to meditate
  • Brushing your teeth
  • In the shower
  • Toweling your self off
  • Putting on make-up or shaving
  • Getting dressed
  • Making your breakfast
  • Feeding your pet
  • Walking the dog
  • Dressing your kids
  • Feeding your family, and
  • Heading out the door for the day

That’s at least 12 times before you even engage with the world outside of your house.

Then throughout the day, when you find yourself in a constricted state over money or stuff – making a “poor me” excuse, telling someone why you can’t do something that costs money, or why you can’t have something that will really nourish you because it’s too expensive, or feeling sorry for yourself:

– STOP

– CLOSE YOUR EYES

– OUT LOUD SAY  “AHAM BRAHMASMI – I AM THE UNIVERSE”

– PLACE YOUR HAND ON YOUR HEART

And then bring your attention to your heart – your most genuine self – which is pure, and whole, infinite & abundant. And realize you are a conduit to receive the divine gifts of the universe. You are limitless. Ever capable. Eternally worthy.

Do this every day and within a week – abundance will flow…aham brahmasmi will become a part of your internal dialog. And on the 8th day, you will flow abundance through your words, thoughts, and deeds.

Lather. Rinse. Repeat!!!!!

Email me with your stories of abundance. I would love to hear from you. Remember to keep meditating and I’ll see you in the gap! peace. -davidji

“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” – Howard Thurman

Spiritual Warriors! Welcome to our new Life Tools newsletter.

Our passion is the wind that flies us forward to fulfill our dreams; and saying “Yes!” to life is how we open our wings! So let’s shift our lives right now. Here are the five steps to awakening passion in your life, getting back your groove, and sparking your mojo!

Meditate, swim, explore, and learn with me in Tulum this November!
Meditate, swim, explore, and learn with me in Tulum this November!

Step 1) – Start your day with a bit of stillness and silence; and throughout the day introduce a pattern interrupt. Ideally, you have a morning stillness & silence practice. A morning meditation using the ritual of Rise Pee Meditate. Or you are listening to one of my free meditations which has at least 5 minutes of sweet silence to create the trajectory of inner peace. Throughout the day, whenever you feel stressed, overwhelmed, or constricted, use my 16 second technique.

Step 2) – When you are done, write down 3 things that make you feel giddy, joyful, or happy. Don’t think about it. Place your hand on your heart, close your eyes, go back in time and stop when you feel yourself smiling. What were you doing? Write it down! Do that 3 times.

Step 3) – Shake your body, move your body, celebrate your body. Dance, run, walk, asana, pilates, swim, make love, jump around for at least 5 minutes (ideally longer) – but do something. And don’t forget to celebrate your flesh temple – the gray hair, the wrinkle that just came to visit, new muscles, new jiggles, new areas that need tweezing, new parts of your body you’ve just discovered. It’s the only body you’ll ever have. So don’t compare – be grateful.

Step 4) – Reach out to your front row –surround yourself with people who like you, love you, support you, root for you. Identify your cheerleaders and feel the love! Thank them for being in your corner.

Step 5) – Do Something BIG – out of your comfort zone – surf, hike, take an exciting trip, join me for Thanksgiving on the Mexican Riviera, get in your car and watch the sunset, go out with no socks on! Do something different – change up your routine!

Just try these 5 steps this week and email me with your results. We transform the world by transforming ourselves.
In the meantime, I’ll see you in the gap! Peace. -davidji
